Frida Kahlo Viva Vida Puzzle 18"x24" 500 Pieces
Presenting our Frida Kahlo 500 piece puzzle. Frida Kahlo was a Mexican painter, best known for her uncompromising and brilliantly colored self-portraits that dealt with themes like identity, the human body and death. Kahlo is remembered for being a woman who broke all social conventions. Despite the harsh gender equality of the 1900s, Kahlo was unafraid to be herself and this put her the forefront of the Womens Empowerment movement. In her self-portraits, she refused to alter her features, in particular her mono-brow and faint mustache(which were labelled “masculine” back then). Her paintings touched on universal female issues like abortion, miscarriage, childbirth, breastfeeding and more. Kahlo was open about her sexuality and freely admitted to being bisexual. Her courage, talent and tenacity make her a incomparable inspiration for many around the world.
